IRELAND rugby coach Joe Schmidt was at Punchestown yesterday – 22 years after his first festival. The New Zealander arrived as wind and rain hit the Kildare venue and was only sticking around for a few races. He said: “I’m just in for today and will probably only get the first four races. That won’t be time enough to lose too much hopefully.”
