Ronan and storm are ‘bursting with love’ as first child is born
RONAN Keating and his wife Storm have welcomed their first child into the world – and it’s a boy.
The happy couple announced the news on Instagram, with the former Boyzone star posting a picture of the proud new mum holding the little one with a radiant beam on her face. The post, which included the hashtag #Keatingclan, said: “Incredibly excited to announce the arrival. We’re all bursting with love for the newest little member of our family! “Feeling very blessed to be daddy to this little man and the luckiest man in the world to be husband to such a strong, loving and warm-hearted woman and add to my beautiful family.” Yesterday, Storm posted a snap of her luxurious hospital bag, adding: “They say to have it ready just in case... #planfortheunexpected.” The Australian, 35, and 40-year-old Ronan showed off their little bundle of joy wearing a Ireland-themed babygro and matching leprechaun boots that had been gifted by Ronan’s daughter Ali. The happy couple were recently spotted out at a charity fundraiser at the Emeralds and Ivy Ball fundraiser, held at Battersea Evolution in London. Storm – who revealed her pregnancy in December last year in a blog post where she said she had a good reason for not touching the mulled wine – was by her husband’s side at the annual event in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation. Ronan’s beloved mother died of breast cancer in 1998 and the family set up the foundation in her honour. Marie Keating never got to meet Storm, who Ronan married in 2015, but he told Daily Mail Australia: “She would have loved her. “Me mam loved life and loved people like that with a full heart and a caring heart. I know she would have loved Storm whole heartedly, perfectly.” The couple told the world they were expecting a year and four months after their fairytale wedding. The as-yet-unnamed little boy is their first child together. Ronan has three kids – son Jack and daughters Missy, 16, and 11-year-old Ali – from his marriage to Yvonne Connolly, who he divorced in 2015 after a number of years of separation following his affair with dancer Francine Cornell.
