George, 76, suspended by Newstalk over rape remarks backlash
DEJECTED George Hook was booted off the air yesterday by Newstalk bosses over his controversial rape comments.
The 76-year-old looked down in the dumps as he arrived at his home in Foxrock, South Dublin, when he should have been hosting his High Noon show. An industry insider said: “The reality is George’s brand is now so toxic Newstalk can’t put him back on air.”
