€5.4m peat bogs boost

A €5.4MILLION project aimed at protecting living bogs has been unveiled by the Minister of Culture. It will boost 12 special areas of conservation in seven counties. Heather Humphreys said: “The project will use measures to establish conditions for peat to again form on the bogs.”
