Poor­est help refuge cri­sis

POOR peo­ple in Bangladesh have been of­fer­ing help to neigh­bours as they flee vi­o­lence in Myanmar. Staff for aid agency Con­cern say they have wit­nessed “hu­man­i­tar­ian spirit” dis­played to those seek­ing refuge. Spokesman AKM Musha said: “Many Bangladeshis know and un­der­stand the painful re­al­ity of flee­ing con­flict. “They too, fled civil war in the 70s so many have out­stretched a vi­tal hand of hu­man­ity.”
