Ticket-sales fans Gunner get bullet

- BY JOHN CROSS

ARSENAL last night promised to ban fans who sold tickets to Cologne supporters. Both clubs are now facing fines after UEFA brought disciplinary charges following the shocking scenes at the Emirates on Thursday night. Arsenal estimate more than 7,000 Cologne fans got in the stadium even though the German club were allocated 3,000 tickets. The Gunners now plan to strip any supporters of membership and ban them if they sold their allocation. It also comes as Cologne apologised, after admitting some fans “threatened, insulted, and even attacked stewards and police officers without cause”.
