Why it would be madness to invite Deranged Donald

Mum’s the word for Meghan’s big move

-

After defeating “Mad” King George III, America’s leaders carefully crafted rules to remove such a character if ever they darkened their shores again.

In the process, they revealed precisely the morally bankrupt, inattentive and impulsive character they were worried about.

Today, it appears the Founding Fathers designed the country’s impeachment law sensing one day a madman would come power.

Now, as Donald Trump’s former cronies are swept up and charged with criminal offences in the Russian election meddling probe, the President looks like who they had in mind.

There is not a week that goes by in which he does not create either a domestic or international crisis.

But despite almost bringing the world to the brink of nuclear war, discriminating against a region and creating substantial racial tensions, last week his actions took on a whole new meaning for Britain.

Stirring from his slumber, Trump followed a familiar pattern by tweeting the latest ramblings of his ever worrying mind.

And in doing so he opted to retweet three

videos posted by Meghan Markle and mum Doria Ragland Jayda Fransen, pictured below - the deputy leader of the ultranationalist, neo-fascist hate group Britain First.

The same Fransen, below, who currently faces four charges of causing religiously aggravated harassment in Kent and is also set to stand trial accused of using threatening and abusive language in Belfast.

Despite this, Trump took it upon himself to offer her a platform on which to spread her hateful message to his 43 million followers. he videos he retweeted paint Muslims as antichristian criminals who beat up white kids and break statues of the Virgin Mary.

They were aimed at demonising Muslims. One of the videos was, as he would say, “fake news” – a total distortion of the facts.

But by circulating his vile falsehoods to spread hatred, to divide communities and incite extremists it shows why his invitation of a UK visit must be withdrawn.

Downing Street’s rare condemnation of the American psycho

Tmade it impossible for him to be given the honour of the red carpet treatment, a coach ride along the Mall and tea with the Queen.

Do not get me wrong, our British neighbours must seek to maintain the “special relationship” with America but Trump is no friend of the UK.

Given his love of a knee-jerk reaction isn’t it terrifying the White House extremist has the nuclear codes. He cannot even find the right Theresa May on Twitter. Let us be crystal clear. Trump’s behaviour is sick and disgusting. We are watching, in real time, the US President using his power to mainstream ideologies of neo-fascism.

This isn’t coming from the political fringe – it’s coming from the Oval Office. No good could come from a Trump visit to Britain and there is an argument for banning him completely for the public good.

Like the Americans didn’t want “Mad” King George, the Brits don’t want Deranged Don.

SO Meghan Markle’s mother could follow her daughter to the UK. Friends of Doria Ragland say she is thinking about leaving her home in California to be closer to her only child after the actress marries Prince Harry in May.

Sources close to yoga teacher, 61, said she has discussed following Meghan, who is to become a British citizen, to London wanting to be on hand when she falls pregnant.

After the bride-to-be has been granted her British citizenship, Doria could apply for a visa known as the “family of a settled person” visa.

Meghan’s half-brother did once say Meghan marrying Harry would be like the Simpsons marrying into the Windsors.

I wonder who’ll be next? Krusty the Clown.
