- BY DAVID ANDERSON

EDERSON says he is chilled going into the biggest game of his career tomorrow.

He knows all about the importance of the derby from his Manchester City teammates and is taking his first one in his stride.

The £35million Brazilian goalkeeper is used to highpressure situations and made his Primeira Liga debut for Benfica in the Lisbon derby against Sporting in March 2016.

Ederson (left) also wasn’t fazed about facing Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich in the about the importance of the derby,” he said. “I’m calm. I’m just going to keep working the same way, with the same calm and concentration as usual to give my best to the team.

“We’re confident we can win. All the games we have played this season, we started with the goal to win and we will go there to try to win.

“We’re aware of how difficult and complicated the game is going to be, being a derby. Our team is going to face it with the same concentration as usual and try to play our normal game.”

Ederson is quiet and unassuming like his Manchester United opposite number David De Gea and admits he was as impressed as anyone by the Spaniard’s heroics against Arsenal last Saturday.

“He’s a great goalkeeper,” said the South American. “He’s having a great season. He had a great performance on Saturday with really some great saves. I just congratulate him on how he is performing this season.”
