BRENTFORD keeper Dan Bentley insists he is not worried by a difficult spell over Christmas.

The Bees were frustrated by Barnsley and outstanding keeper Adam Davies, and failed to find the net despite an astonishing 22 shots.

They now have a tough Christmas programme with games against Aston Villa, Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich.

But Bentley said: “I think all those teams we’ve beaten before.

“It’s a chance to get three points like every game is – and those are games you look forward to, playing big stadiums and big crowds.

“The Christmas period is always nice in a way because everybody wants to come and watch their team over the holidays and on Boxing Day. I’m sure we’ll take a good support to Norwich and that’s hopefully where we’ll start with three points.

“I thought it was one-way traffic against Barnsley.

“We’re disappointed as it feels like two points dropped. We created enough chances to win a couple of matches.”

Barnsley ended a run of five straight defeats with this draw.

And Tykes’ defender Jason Mccarthy said: “It was a strong team performance and great to get a clean sheet.

“We can build on that and take it into next weekend against Fulham.”
