JOE IS HAPPY TO CARRY ON BEING TIGHT
JOE RALLS reckons Cardiff proved their Premier League credentials by taming the Tigers.
Sol Bamba’s bullet header earned a hard-fought win against Hull, leaving the second-placed Bluebirds four points behind leaders Wolves.
And midfielder Ralls (above) believes their fourth 1-0 victory of the season proves they are up for the promotion fight.
He said: “They are definitely our most important three points of the season, you get a great sense of achievement when you win 1-0 in a tight game.
“As a team we don’t talk about promotion. But we know we’re a good side who can dig in and get the points. That’s a confidence thing and we’re showing that.
“These 1-0 wins are massive results and it’s great to nick these games when they’re tight.”
Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman has promised Neil Warnock transfer funds to spend in January, and has also outlined plans to keep their boss at the club with a bumper new deal.
And Ralls insisted he is the man to orchestrate the club’s return to the promised land after a three-year absence.
He said: “The gaffer has been saying good things about me which is nice as he’s shown real faith to play me in every game. I’ve not experienced a man manager like him, there is no one better.
“Every player wants to test themselves in the top division but we have a long way to go – we’re not even at the halfway point yet.”
