IRELAND HOTTER THAN ROME AS TEMPS TO TAKE A TURN UP

Debbie admits she loves eating, and firmly believes the best dietary advice is to have everything in moderation.

She certainly doesn’t believe in extreme eating plans, such as the famed maple syrup diet.

In fact, if she ever feels like she’s having a “fat day”

Debbie just cuts out the sugar and refined carbohydra­tes.

She says: “The heaviest I get is 8st (I’m

5ft 1in). If I’ve put on a few pounds, I go easy on bread, biscuits and cakes. I don’t believe in fad diets – your body needs a bit of everything.”

Debbie is also aware that you need get the right nutrients, so she is partial to slurping smoothies packed with goodness and loading up her plate with greens. She said: “I love smoothies, but only have the occasional one because they are sugary.

“I eat salads and include as many vegetables in my diet as possible.” Debbie admitted she developed a voracious appetite when she started on Strictly, and so she piled up her breakfast plate with protein. High-protein breakfasts are known to help curb your appetite and make you feel fuller for longer.

A forecaster said: “Tuesday will be mainly dry but dull and misty to start, with fog in places.

“Cloud will thin out locally by early afternoon to give some short sunny spells. Temperatur­es between 10 and 13 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds.

And it’s going to be mild and misty tonight, with light and patchy rain and fog.

The forecaster added: “There will be drier, cooler and clearer weather over Ulster and north Connacht by dawn on Wednesday, dropping temperatur­es there to lows of five to seven degrees.

“However, temperatur­es elsewhere won’t fall below 10 degrees.

“There’ll be bright or short sunny spells over Ulster and north Connacht on Wednesday, with highest temperatur­es there of seven to nine degrees.”

It will be misty and mostly cloudy elsewhere, with occasional drizzle and fog.
