every game, showing me love and respect, it means a lot to me.”

Salah likes a sing-song himself and revealed how he outsmarted his team-mates when he had to sing for them when he first arrived.

“I did an initiation song during the pre-season training camp in Germany,” he said. “But I sung it in Arabic so nobody could understand. It was good fun and I settled into the group fast.

“The players are very nice. We talk to each other a lot. We have good times, all of them are humble and that’s what makes me better and better and better.

“It’s not about anything else, it’s about the atmosphere in the club and being close to the players and the coach.”

Salah has been instrumental in helping Egypt to just their third World Cup and their first since Italia 1990. He made his debut for his country in 2011 and has scored 32 goals in 56 appearances.

JESSE LINGARD insists Manchester United will not give up on the title – but admits they will have to go on their own recordbreaking run.

Manchester City are 11 points clear of bitter rivals United after setting a new Premier League record of 16 consecutive wins under Pep Guardiola.

England midfielder Lingard claims United would be top in any normal season after getting 41 points from their opening 18 games. This is eight more than the same stage last year.

When asked whether United will have to win all their remaining games, Lingard said: “Probably. With the squad we have got we have to always believe in each game.

“Any other season we would be top with the points we have so as long as we keep winning games that’s the most important thing.

We’re doing very well.”
