SUPERSTAR DJ Calvin Harris is making a sound investment – snapping up a $5million mansion which boasts its own recording studio.

The music producer’s luxurious new pad in Los Angeles has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a swimming pool.

When he’s not working in the studio, the hitmaker can find musical inspiration in the spacious lounge which has a grand piano in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Calvin, 33, is the second dance music mogul to own this piece of prime real estate with stunning views of the Hollywood Hills.

He has bought it from Swedish House Mafia DJ and producer Steve Angello for a cool $5.4million – about €4.5million.

Before that, its previous owner was Tom Rothrock, the producer who released James Blunt’s debut album on an unsuspecting world.

Calvin, who was born and brought up in Dumfries, Scotland, is now the proud owner of 4500 impressive square feet of highly-desirable property. The 18ft ceilings make it feel bright and airy and the overall look is sleek and modern.

The dark wood kitchen includes a wine fridge and marble splashbacks.

There’s a marble fireplace and parquet flooring in the open-plan reception room. Outside, there is space for loungers round the pool and a spiral staircase leads from there to the first floor.

Calvin and his pals can also chill out on couches on the patio.

Sounds like the perfect place to get ready for the weekend.
