MAN HELD AFTER WOMAN ATTACKED

The woman was found by a passer-by and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition. She was treated for her injuries and is now stable.

The victim – who is 5ft 2ins and is of a slim build with long black hair – was conscious when she was found and there was a lot of blood at the scene. She was put in an induced coma due to the severity of her injuries, which it is believed could have long-term effects.
