TV host Ant Mcpartlin’s wife Lisa Armstrong posted a New Year message suggesting she was glad to see the back of a rubbish 2017.

She has previously insisted she is not “estranged” from her husband, but rumours their 12 year marriage may be over have continued to mount.

Yesterday Lisa posted a cartoon image of herself getting rid of a stinking bin bag with 2017 on it.

Despite not captioning the Bitmoji app post, many of her followers tweeted her back, assuming it was a reference to her recent troubles with Ant.

Professional Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse retweeted the post and wrote “yasssssss”, which Lisa then liked.

Lisa also liked a tweet sent by a fan which read: “Sending you hugs sweetheart - even in the darkest of situations you always need to find the positives.

“They are there when you are ready to THE home of the black stuff had a sparkling year in 2017, figures showed yesterday.

The Guinness Storehouse, below, welcomed a staggering 1,711,281 guests through its doors in the last 12 months, making it Ireland’s No1 visitor attraction.

Following a stint in rehab for prescription drug dependancy, Ant, 42, has not been seen together with Lisa, 41, for many months. In October he moved out of their €6million West London home into a rented house. Consulting revealed 34% of visitors surveyed said a trip to the home of stout played a crucial role in their decision to travel to Ireland, boosting the economy by €361.2million in a year.

Tourists from the USA, Canada and the UK made up the majority of visitors.

Guinness Storehouse managing director Paul Carty said: “2017 was another incredibly successful year for the Guinness Storehouse.”
