NORWICH midfielder­s James Maddison and Alex Pritchard put Premier League bosses on red alert with dazzling displays.

The double act mastermind­ed a Canaries comeback which will surely have put their names on a few transfer-window wish-lists.

They also eased the pressure on Norwich chief Daniel Farke, who infuriated the fans by resting six key men for the draw at Burton to save them for this match.

Farke and his team were booed off as they trailed at the break, and he admitted: “I went into the dressing room thinking, ‘What have we done?’. But thank God we found the right words and the second half was brilliant.

PAUL SMYTH had a fairytale debut by grabbing QPR’S winner – but Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock was fuming at the ref after a fourth defeat in a row.

Cardiff ’s Junior Hoilett had the ball in the net on 80 minutes only for his ‘equaliser’ to be ruled out for offside – with City convinced the key touch had come off Rangers’ Josh Scowen.

Smyth arrived from Linfield in August and the 20-year-old sealed a comeback victory, Matt Smith levelling after Cardiff ’s Joe Ralls opened the scoring with a 54th-minute penalty (right).
