‘Forgetful Mourinho needs doc’

ANTONIO CONTE has claimed that Jose Mourinho is acting like he is losing his marbles and might need medical help.

In an extraordinary outburst the Chelsea chief advised his Manchester United counterpart to see a doctor.

And Conte warned his rival bosses he is ready for a “fight” if they target him, his players or Chelsea after Arsene Wenger accused Eden Hazard of diving.

Conte laid into Mourinho after he hit out at animated bosses who behave like “clowns” on the touchline in an apparent swipe at the Blues manager and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp.

Conte said: “When you totally forget what you said in the past, your behaviour, you must be worried when this happens as it means you are becoming old and you need a check.

“I think that he has to see himself in the past, maybe he was speaking about himself in the past, yeah?

“Sometimes I think there is, I don’t know the name, ‘demenza senile’ when you are a bit... when you forget what you do in the past.” Italian Conte’s phrase translates to senile dementia, although Chelsea later insisted he meant amnesia.

Conte also had Wenger in his sights after his attack on Hazard who was awarded a penalty in Wednesday’s 2-2 Emirates draw after being fouled by Hector Bellerin.

Conte said: “I think if Arsene watched the game again, he would understand that he was very lucky during the game for refereeing decisions.

“You have to accept the decision. He is an old coach, he has experience. He won a lot, he has to continue to do what he did in the past.

“But I am starting to be a bit annoyed because once, twice people say things. For this reason you must pay great attention when you speak because if you want to go to fight with me I am ready.”
