Sir David Attenborough and Professor Brian Cox are appearing on screen together for the first time in The Royal Society’s series People of Science.

In the show, which is now on BBC iplayer, the pair discuss Charles Darwin’s legacy as the founding father of botany.

The broadcaster, 91, previously described the 49-year-old physicist as his natural successor, saying: “If I had a torch I’d hand it to Brian Cox.” JACQUELINE Jossa lost her temper with a troll who insulted her daughter during an online chat with fans.

The Eastenders star, 25, took to Instagram on Tuesday to talk about her exit from the BBC soap.

And she hit out at a troll who claimed Ella, two, “looked like a puffed-up spider”.

Jacqueline said on the live stream: “You look like a f***ing puffed-up spider... Go f**k yourself, p***k. Don’t say anything about my kids.

“I know she’s gorgeous. Sorry for swearing, sorry to anyone under 18. Sorry Mum but I got it off you anyway.”

But Jacqueline also had fun with a fan who said she was the TV’S most attractive brunette. She said: “Fittest brunette? I think you’re mistaken – have you seen Michelle Keegan?’ Speaking of shooting her final scenes as Lauren Branning, she said: “I’m tired and I have one more day left of filming to do a pick up so I’ve got to be there at six and leave at 5.30. One more day.” Lauren will be on our screens until February. The number of parts the fifth series of Luther will have. Idris Elba will be joined by Wunmi Mosaku, who plays new recruit DS Catherine Halliday.
