STRICTLY Come Dancing champ Ore Oduba has become a dad for the first time after his wife Portia gave birth to a boy.

The delighted telly presenter said the new arrival was a “blessing” as he posted a picture of him cradling little Roman – born on Tuesday – on his Instagram page.

Ore, 31, heaped praise on Portia, 29, and said: “Cannot find the words to describe this feeling. Just thank you God for our little blessing.

“His mum is simply my hero. 09.01.18 the best day in our tiny family’s life. Roman, you are our world ... and the world is all yours.”

Ore – who lifted the Strictly crown in 2016 – has previously told how he sobbed with joy when the couple found they were expecting.

He said: “We’d just come back from Spain and Portia was feeling a bit weird.

“I nipped home for half an hour between meetings. As soon as I opened the door, Portia dived into our bedroom and came out to show me the stick test which said ‘pregnant’.

“I fell about crying. I sobbed and said, ‘How am I supposed to get on with the rest of my day?’” BARACK Obama has joked about having “dad moves” on the dance floor.

The former US president made the comments as a guest in new six-part Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.

Obama recalled the time he and his youngest daughter Another Strictly star expecting the pitterpatter of tiny feet is Brendan Cole. He was pictured with pregnant wife Zoe at the Cirque du Soleil OVO premiere at Royal Albert Hall. Sasha danced with Prince in 2016. He told Letterman: “This was probably three or four months before he died, and Prince asked Sasha to come up and dance, and she is an excellent dancer.

“Sasha pulls me up, which surprises me because she always mocks my dancing, I have dad moves. And I think the key is what we call ‘staying in the pocket’. You’ve got to stay in the pocket, because I think everybody here knows dads who get out of the pocket, and they’re trying stuff that they really can’t pull off and they start, like, doing karate kicks and all kinds of stuff.”

Letterman’s new series launches on Netflix today.
