Sharon: I hope Weinstein goes to jail
Baby deaths in past five years in which co-sleeping played a significant part
BASIC Instinct star Sharon Stone hopes that disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein will be jailed.
The producer has been accused of sexual harassment and assault by several women, which led to a wave of accusations against other male stars that rocked Hollywood.
Stone, 59, said: “For people who behave outrageously, you just have to tell them they’re awful.
“But there are other people who are coarse and mean and violent and abusive and assaulting, and these people need to go to jail.” Asked if she meant Weinstein, she said: “I do. I hope he goes to jail.”
The actress refused to disclose whether she had personally had any encounters with Weinstein, who has “unequivocally denied” allegations of nonconsensual sex.

A coroner last month noted the dangers of co-sleeping after recording an open verdict on 10-week-old Teneil Howell.
He was smothered between mum Amy Leigh Howell, 30, and her partner. Amy was said to have been “smashed” on vodka.
Howell, who lived in Bolton, had been warned by a health visitor about the dangers.
