Anna: I have been target of TV pests
ACTRESS Anna Friel says she has been the target of lots of abusive behaviour – but can handle it.
Last October, it was reported she fled a dinner with ex-amazon Studios boss Roy Price after he allegedly made unwanted advances towards her.
She told Radio Times magazine: “It wasn’t something that was big enough to talk about. I didn’t report that story.
“I don’t want to add fuel to the story. I know how to handle myself.”
Friel, 41, who found fame in Channel 4 soap Brookside, said she had been the victim of “so many” instances of abusive behaviour in her career.
But she added: “It’s not had an effect on me, apart from it’s made me very, very strong.”
