Love letters beat emails

MORE than 81% of people prefer a romantic handwritten letter to an email, it has been revealed.

With today the last chance to post a love letter for Valentine’s, An Post said almost a third of people think sharing soppy posts on social media is cringe-inducing.

In fact, almost half of us (48%) believe we overshare our lives in general, with a further 37% agreeing we are sometimes prone to doing so.

Our emotions (45%), work details (40%) and relationship issues (30%) are the subjects we feel we share too much.
