Office rental market flat

MORE than 60% of vacant commercial properties have been empty for at least three years.

There were 211,958 commercial addresses recorded by Geodirectory in the last part of 2017.

The national vacancy rate has fallen from 13.5% in Q4 2016 to 13.3% in the last part of 2017.

Geodirectory chief Dara Keogh said: “While there are signs the recovery is spreading outside Dublin, there is still a high commercial vacancy rate.”
