Merged firm takes off with 28 new jobs

A NEWLY merged company has announced an expansion at the Shannon Free Zone that will double its workforce.

Aviation firm STS Ujet has announced the creation of 28 jobs over the next two years.

The aircraft interior modification and refurbishment specialist is establishing a European Hub at Shannon Free Zone following a merger with US company STS Component Solutions.

STS Ujet president Mark Robertson said: “We are delighted to be expanding our operation to Shannon Free Zone. Our new facilities provide us with the space to grow and expand into the future.”
