QUICK FIX NOT LIKELY IF HE’S BROGAN DOWN

all game know-how back into their DNA.

“It is a serious injury, a horrible injury and I hate to hear it when people get it.

“I really feel for him at this stage of his career where he was looking very sharp.”

Brogan played against Kildare in Croke Park two weeks ago and was named in the team to face Donegal last Saturday but picked up an injury in training.

Harte had been impressed by how the Dublin star started the season.

“Against Kildare, he might not have got scores but he was instrumental in the setting up of a lot of scores.

“He seemed to have a bite and attitude about him that left you thinking ‘Why have you got this at this time of the day with all the stuff that you have won?’

“I am really sorry to hear it and I hope that it is not the case.”

Meanwhile, Tyrone halfback Tiernan Mccann is to have a scan on a knee injury picked up in the closing stages of Sunday’s narrow win over Kildare.

“It is a bit worrying for us,” Harte added.

“We are hoping that it is a bang and a bruise more than anything else but until that is confirmed by a scan we don’t know what the situation is.”
