60% fearful over phone details leak

A TOTAL of 60% of people fear having personal details leaked from their smartphone, it was revealed yesterday.

Around two-fifths said they worry their Smart TV could be listening in on their conversations.

And 28% are concerned an embarrassing tweet could be outed.

A spokesman for Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse said: “Consumers understand the valuable data they carry around and the value of being savvy when it comes to social media.

“But it is easy to address most of these issues and protect yourself from losing personal data.”
