Garda tribute to tragic detective

HUNDREDS of gardai gathered to say goodbye to their tragic colleague Detective Superintendent Colm Fox yesterday.

The senior officer was found dead in his office in Ballymun Garda station on Saturday night. Gardai have described his death as a “personal tragedy”.

At the funeral mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Seabury in Malahide, Fr Sean Donohoe, who is also a brother of Colm’s wife Edel said: “He always influenced for the good.”
