IT’S ANOTHER DOUBLE FOR DAVY

DAVY RUSSELL edged closer to his century of winners for the season and a third Jockeys Championship title thanks to a double in Fairyhouse yesterday.

The Cork rider (left) moved on to the 97-winner mark for the campaign when scoring on Pat’s Oscar, for Gordon Elliott, and course specialist Nicoles Milan.

Pat’s Oscar defied top weight and registered her second success for Pioneer Racing in the Fairyhouse Easter festival Novice Handicap Hurdle, forging clear to beat favourite Bee A Benefficiary by 11 lengths.
