LUKASZ FABIANSKI says Sheffield Wednesday’s loss is Swansea’s gain.

The Owls sacked Carlos Carvalhal on Christmas Eve, only for Swansea to snap him up as boss three days later.

Carvalhal has lifted the Swans clear of the bottom three – and returns to Hillsborough in the FA Cup this weekend with a smile on his face.

Keeper Fabianski (above) said: “So far he has done very, very well. What I like about him is that he is very positive. He spreads a good energy around. Our confidence level is very high, we have improved dramatically.”
