Model announces new arrival with social media snaps of baby shower
GEORGIA Penna has revealed she’s expecting a baby girl and has opted for surrogacy again.
The model, 32, took to social media to announce the happy news.
She married hedge fund manager Joe married in Portofino, Italy, in May 2015 and they welcomed twin boys later that year.
Georgia is supremely private when it comes to her personal life and very rarely posts family pictures.
Announcing the news on Instagram, she gushed over her family and friends for their thoughtful shower yesterday.
She singled out her good pal Nicole Fouche-price for hosting the celebration and hinted the arrival of a baby girl by sharing the beautiful pictures of the primarily pink intimate setting.
White and pink flowers adorned the table with personalised message on each with a matching white and pink table setting, with the top menu reading: “Baby girl Penna”.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star has been sent well wishes by many famous faces.
Models Daneilla Moyles and Aoife Walsh and former Dublin Wives star Virginia Macari have all wished her well.
The Dubliner’s Irish model agent Andrea Roche said: “Congrats, can’t wait to meet the newest baby Penna”.
When the couple’s boys were born, Georgia revealed she was thrilled when her dreams of motherhood were made possible by a third party. A friend said: “Georgia’s twins were born with the help of a surrogate.
“The surrogate was arranged in the US and she is over the moon to have two healthy, happy baby boys.”
The brunette protects her boys from social media and has never shown their faces.
At the time of their birth she also denied they had been adopted.
In a statement shortly after they were born she said: “I won’t be posting any photos of them on social media as I’d like to keep them private.”
