Odds slashed on love-split Aniston reuniting with Pitt
JENNIFER Aniston has denied ex Brad Pitt is giving her a shoulder to cry on after the break-up of her marriage to Justin Theroux.
The Friends star, 49, has been dogged by rumours involving Brad since his 2016 split from Angelina Jolie.
Now she is single again, fans are begging them to reunite – with bookmakers slashing odds on a rekindled romance to 2-1 yesterday morning.
Hours earlier, Jennifer and Justin, 46, had issued a statement confirming their two-year marriage was over.
They said: “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”
It came after Justin stayed in New York last weekend while Jen celebrated her birthday in Malibu. He had confirmed they would not spend Valentine’s Day together either. The marriage was reportedly strained as they spent so much time apart, with Jen in LA and Justin in New York.
Website Radar Online claims they had a huge row on December 14 about him not spending enough time in LA. The site dubbed it “the fight to end all fights” but a spokesman said the report was “complete fabrication”.
Jen’s publicist also described reports by In Touch magazine that Brad is being her “shoulder to cry on” as “another fabrication”.
Earlier this month, Jen spoke to Architectural Digest about her Bel Air mansion, where she married Justin in 2015. She said: “I look around at my husband and our home, and there’s nowhere else I want to be.” She is now said to be selling the €17million pad.
Meanwhile, sources told E! of his Greenwich Village home: “Justin can walk in the neighbourhood, hang at a bar without being bothered but for Jen, the paparazzi are all over her. She could never get settled in.”
Jen has also been busy, filming Dumplin’ in Atlanta, while Justin filmed The Spy Who Dumped Me in Budapest. They started dating in 2011 and reportedly signed an “iron-clad” pre-nup, protecting Jen’s €160million fortune. Justin is worth €15.9million.
Jen was married to Brad from 2000 to 2005 and he met Angelina on the set of Mr and Mrs
Smith in 2003.
Jen is said to still be
“haunted” by their divorce.

2012 her least favourite rumour about herself was
“the triangle with my ex – and that there’s a feud there”.
When Brad and Angelina split in 2016, he and Jen were rumoured to be back in touch and in the past year, reports suggested their relationship was friendlier, with frequent texting.
But a source told People a reunion was “highly unlikely”, adding: “They broke up because they had issues.” Jen was engaged to actor Tate Donovan in 1997 and has dated actors Vince Vaughn and Gerard Butler, and singer John Mayer. She has bemoaned being depicted as unlucky in love and said in 2014: “How many times can I be out there, enjoying my life, yet the narrative is ‘Poor, Sorry, Sad in Love Jen’?”
And in 2016, she branded speculation she was pregnant “the perpetuation of this notion women are somehow incomplete, unsuccessful or unhappy if not married with children”. where he hasn’t looked utterly delighted to be by her side.
