Celebrity Haunted Mansion will air for five nights from Wednesday on W at 9pm, hosted by Christine Lampard.
The celebs will be split into two teams, led by Jack Osbourne and paranormal expert Jason Hawes. They’ll take part in live ghost hunts and attempt to uncover the secrets of the mansion while hoping to survive the public vote each night to end the series as champion celebrity ghost hunter. Popular 90s comedy The Fast Show could be in line for a comeback.
Cast member Simon Day has revealed the show’s writers have held meetings to discuss a potential return.
It seems Simon and fellow co-star Paul Whitehouse have spoken about penning new material after seeing the success of the recent revival of the BBC comedy The League of Gentlemen.
Asked about a possible return for the quickfire sketch Paul show that first hit our Whitehouse screens in 1994, Simon, 55, tells us: “Paul [Whitehouse] and I have been talking about doing something.
“It’s just a little complicated. You have to get everyone together, pay everyone etc. We’d all like to do something, though. Who knows?”
