10 NIALL Scannell and James Cronin bagged the tries as Munster closed to within 12 points of leaders Glasgow Warriors, but the loss of Chris Cloete (right) to a nasty arm injury is a huge blow to Johann van Graan’s side.

But other than a brief stint at the start of the second half, Munster were totally dominant in Cork.

Before the break Scannell scored off the back of a maul and just two minutes after George Horne went over for the visitors to reduce the arrears to three points early in the second half Cronin dived on his own kick through to restore Munster’s advantage.

Tyler Bleyendaal did the rest with three penalties and a conversion but the Munster fans will be worried about the fitness of Cloete going forward.

7 OUT-HALF Ciaran Frawley (left) produced a stunning display to crown his first start for Leinster with a 19-points haul.

The 20-year old made his debut off the bench last weekend and showed at the RDS that he is the latest in the superb Leinster production line.

The Skerries native

converted seven of Leinster’s ten tries — having managed to score one of their six touchdowns in the opening half.

Bryan Byrne, Nick Mccarthy and Barry Daly scored two tries each while Dave Kearney, James Lowe and Jordan Larmour also touched down.

Garry Ringrose came through his first outing unscathed.
