First a bit of warning regarding upcoming events; in the last 48 hours some venues have decided to close tonight due to the unpreceden­ted inclement weather, so please check with the venue before you venture out tonight to an event.

District 8 have listed Chris Liebing to a three hour set at the Francis Street venue tonight. One of Techno’s longest-serving names, Chris makes his debut for Subject and is one of those artists, in the rapidly evolving world of electronic music, whom over the past 25 years has dedicated himself to the performanc­e, production, distributi­on and broadcasti­ng of Techno across the globe.

He has run several successful club nights, has held residencie­s in many of the most prestigiou­s venues worldwide, produced his own music as well as ghost producing, started record labels and hosted radio shows, all while awards for different branches of his profession­al efforts.

A genuine ambassador of innovative Techno his name carries that accolade across the world. District 8 residents Moduse support and €20 is the door fee with doors at 11pm.

Tomorrow night our friends Mix & Fairbanks launch their new EP down at Grand Social.

Their new release is called Bavarian Nights and is released on Kildare label 045 recordings. The EP is picking up heavy support from clued up spinners and this is a good opportunit­y to enjoy the guys behind the CDJS and they are fantastic DJ’S as well!

Doors are at 1pm and support comes from Jimmy Rouge and 045 DJ’S with entry fee of €7 only.

Tomorrow TINI is back at PYG. Division, in associatio­n with Culture have her back in the capital where since her last outing, she has featured on some of the biggest festival lineups in the world including Timewarp, Awakenings, BPM & Sonus.

Following her humble beginnings as a resident DJ in Munich, she has

gone on to headline at clubs such as Berghain, Fabric & Cocorico amongst others. Her infamous parties ‘TINI & the gang’ have dominated Ibiza for the past few years and so it’s great they have been able to bring the acclaimed mixer to the vaults once more,support from Aaron Nolan and Olympias with entry fee €10 and doors at 10pm.

Opium Rooms is back open tomorrow night with Ronan O back the helm in the Botanical Garden while Phrank is in IRO upstairs, always a good time with the guys.
