Dairy good for farmers

GLANBIA will pay producers for milk that couldn’t be collected due to the weather conditions.

The Irish Farmers Association welcomed the news but added the “key issue” was to get businesses running again.

Farmers affected will receive 20c for every litre of milk that wasn’t collected.
