BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY
DAVID WAGNER has told his Huddersfield stars not to feel sorry for themselves.
The Terriers were easily beaten by Spurs on Saturday and are just three points above the drop zone.
But boss Wagner (right) has called on his men to reproduce the spirit that helped them to bounce back from defeat at Manchester United last month with wins over Bournemouth and West Brom. Town now have home games against Swansea and Palace followed by trips to Newcastle and Brighton.
Wagner said: “There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves. I said after our victories over West Brom and Bournemouth that it’s all about how to manage defeats.
“Teams fighting for survival will always suffer defeats.”
