Greens issue housing plea

THE Green Party is to call on the Government to build thousands of homes at affordable rents.

The appeal will be made today at the Plinth at Leinster House.

Proposed sites include Cathal Brugha Barracks and Broadstone bus depot under a “cost rental” model.
