Drug rehab centre ‘open to everyone’

A NEW drug rehab centre will open its doors to anyone “without regard to religion or belief ”.

Narconon, supported by the Church of Scientology, is behind the “multimillion euro” Co Meath facility that will serve the entire country.

The organisation promotes the theories of Scientology’s founder, American author L Ron Hubbard.

It estimates the centre will add €850,000 a year to the local community.

A spokesman said: “Many Irish people have gone through the Narconon programme and lead drug-free lives today thanks to it.”
