Making waves over seaweed

A MOTION calling for the preservation of traditional seaweed harvesting rights has been put forward.

TDS Thomas Pringle and Catherine Connolly voiced fears of a licensing shake-up to aid large firms.

He said: “This would ensure over-harvesting while also pushing out the traditional harvesters.”
