Student chefs are hoping to taste success
HOPEFULS across Ireland will compete to see who can become the 2018 Student Chef of the Year.
The final will take place at Dundalk Institute of Technology on April 17.
This year’s contestants must cooked a vegetarian starter and seafood main course using local goods.
One of the judges, Aidan Mcgrath, said: “I’m excited to see the different interpretations of the theme.
“Knorr Student Chef is a wonderful opportunity for student chefs to really show the judges what they’re capable of.”
The competition is open to second-year students from colleges.
