Finding staff a challenge for top firms

RECRUITING experienced staff is one of the biggest challenges faced by Irish entrepreneurs, research has shown.

A survey by EY revealed 57% found finding workers to be a struggle.

The annual report was conducted among 130 previous finalists in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme.

Spokesman Kevin Mcloughlin said: “Recruiting the right talent is something that stood out over the last 12 months.

“With 84% of the businesses surveyed planning on increasing their headcount over the next 12 months, it is highly unlikely this problem will go away.”
