Man arrested over €7k cash & drugs raid

A MAN was arrested yesterday after gardai uncovered a quantity of cannabis during a recent search operation.

The seizure was made by officers from the DMR Eastern Drugs Unit, at a premises in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.

During the search cannabis herb with a potential street value of €5,600 was discovered.

And €1,500 in cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized in the raid.

The man, who is aged in his 20s, was later arrested and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
