I’M hoping my son Jamie will come with me when the Stones play Croker in May... God and the residents’ association willing.

In years past a parent might be hoping their offspring would steer clear of the music business because of the rock‘n’roll lifestyle. Then again look at multi-millionaire Sir Mick Jagger, below, and the boys all in their 70s and still rockin’ away.

Still, it’s only natural parents worry about the scourge of drugs... and will do everything to keep them away from swimming, athletics and cycling.
