WARNING OVER ‘HEART ATTACK’ DIET CAPSULES
Products are found to contain illegal steroids and stimulants
POPULAR diet supplements sold at gyms across the country could cause heart attacks, it has been warned.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland yesterday issued an urgent recall of all Falcon Labs products after finding them “unfit from human consumption”.
Its range includes Oxyburn Pro fat-burning capsules and dietary supplements Superclen and Superdrive.
FSAI chief Dr Pamela Byrne said: “We advise consumers who may have Falcon Labs products

Mourners outside the church not to consume them. These are likely to contain illegal steroids and stimulants that are not safe for consumption and anyone taking them is taking a serious risk of jeopardising their health.
“We know the business address printed on the label and supplier invoices is not genuine. We are asking consumers to tell us where they purchased them, so that we can ensure all stock is removed from sale.
“In addition, anyone who may have information on who the supplier is can let us know confidentially by emailing foodincidents@fsai.ie.”

The stimulant can cause acute increase in blood pressure, which may lead to shortness of breath, tightening of the chest and the risk of heart attack or cerebral haemorrhage.
