1 in 3 cards is not for Mum

ONE in three cards bought for Mother’s Day tomorrow is not for Mum.

Stepmums, grans, childminders and even dads will also be recipients, according to Clintons.

Nicola Miller, from the card shop company, said: “Mother’s Day has evolved to reflect modern families.”

A poll of 2,000 adults by Clintons shows that almost half expect to see their mother tomorrow.

And one in 10 over-65s still get help, such as cleaning, from their mum.
