Two bar Louth still harbours promotion prospects, though that won’t be the case after this weekend’s round of games.

TIPPERARY can avail of the opportunity to bolster their scoring difference at home to LOUTH, who are shaping up to be the division’s whipping boys.

A certain combination of results might even see them relegated with two games to go tomorrow.

ROSCOMMON had 12 points to spare on them in a double-scores win last time out though Kevin Mcstay won’t take that as proof positive that they’ve turned the campaign around just yet after a deeply disappointing loss at home to Down in round two.

CLARE could leapfrog them with a win in Ennis though Roscommon get the nod to keep the pressure on Cavan.

MEATH and CORK meet in Navan and it’s quite some time since both were at such a low ebb. Cork look to have the greater scope to kick on, however, and can plunge Meath deeper into the relegation mire.
