TONY PULIS has told Patrick Bamford he can’t miss – after firing seven goals in four games.

Bamford has shot Boro into the play-off zone, ahead of a clash with struggling Barnsley today.

Pulis says his club were “written off” and wants his players to seize their big chance. Bamford (left) has helped Boro to four wins in six games and Pulis said: “Things are dropping for Patrick.

“When I first came in he was getting chances but they were not. When he sees the goal now he most probably thinks he can’t miss.

“A few weeks ago people wrote us off and now we must push on.”
