MARTY Burns who plays Saint Patrick does a touch of navigating as he’s brought to shore yesterday.
He disembarked close to Down Cathedral in a re-enactment of our patron saint’s first landing in Ireland.
The Irish annals for the fifth century say her arrived here in 432 to spread the gospel.
His remains are now believed to be buried at
Down Cathedral.
