Trophy’s the Icing on the cake for Jake and partner
Jake and Vanessa JAKE Quickenden was last night crowned Dancing On Ice 2018 champion.
The singer and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer were overcome with emotion as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed the results.
In the live final the viewing public decided the former X Factor and I’m A Celebrity star was the winner over Corrie’s Brooke Vincent and Rugby Union player Max Evans.
Jake was in disbelief as the result was announced and nearly collapsed in shock.
His delighted partner helped get him to his feet before giving the amateur skater a massive hug.
Jake looked close to tears but composed himself for long enough to speak to Holly and Phil.
He said: “I can’t get my head around it. It might mean I don’t have to do another reality TV show.”
Praising Brooke in second place, he added: “She deserves to be proud of herself. She is unbelievable.”
Brooke and Jake each skated to their own version of Torvill and Dean’s famous Bolero performance.
