HOWE FUMES AT SOFT CALL

EDDIE HOWE felt Bournemouth were victims of a “very, very soft call” from referee Mike Dean.

The official ruled out Callum Wilson’s late strike, which would have made it 2-2, for a push on Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez. Spurs then rubbed salt into the Cherries’ wounds by scoring two late goals.

Boss Howe said: “It is a very, very soft call from the referee. If there is any contact it is minimal. At 2-1 down, that has a huge bearing on the result.”
